Led by first and corresponding author Swapnil S. Bamane, an open-access RSC study used 50 atomistic models and 150 simulated tensile tests to determine how graphene-quantum-dot surface chemistry changes predicted epoxy stiffness and yield strength.

A study presented at ASC-39 and now archived by Springer compares edge, basal-plane, and mixed hydroxylation of graphene quantum dots in epoxy, showing that functional-group location changes the predicted mechanical response.
